This release focuses on three major enhancements, complemented by a set of cross-functional improvements.

🌈 1. UX Redesign of the Gantt – Projects Review

🎯 Objective

The redesign of the Planning view in Project Reviews aims to improve readability and portfolio analysis by providing a clearer, more flexible, and more intuitive visualization.

🚀 Key Enhancements

  • Project color-coding in the Planning view based on various criteria

  • Customizable displayed columns

  • Advanced time management: scale selection (year, quarter, month, week, day) and zoom in/out

  • Display of project label and configurable milestones

  • Optional display of the baseline schedule

🎨 Project Color-Coding

Projects can now be color-coded based on:

  1. Portfolio
  2. Stage
  3. Status
  4. Health (RAG)
  5. Priority
  6. Trend
  7. Project Manager
  8. Business Owner
  9. Sponsor
  10. Analytical axes

Axes of type nomenclature or multi values are not eligible.

  • 20-color palette, with automatic or manual assignment

  • Two assignment logics:

    • Fixed groupings (Stage, Health, Priority, etc.): fixed but editable colors

    • Infinite groupings (Project Manager, Portfolio, etc.): alphabetical color assignment

  • Settings are saved within views

  • An asterisk indicates unsaved views when a color is modified

🔎 Zoom & Time Ranges

Available time ranges:

  1. Week
  2. Month
  3. Quarter
  4. Half-year
  5. Year

Smooth zoom in/out functionality between scales.

🏁 Milestone Management

  1. Milestone display selector: All / Go-lives / None
  2. Distinct icons:
    1. Go-live: circle
    2. Other milestones: triangle
  3. Color codes:
    1. Completed: green
    2. Upcoming: grey
    3. Overdue: red
🖊️ 2. Notes & Decisions – Part 2

🎯 Objective

This second part significantly enhances Notes and Decisions features to strengthen their integration into operational and decision-making processes.

🚀 Key Enhancements

✅ Create and View from Main Tables

It is now possible to create and view:

  1. Tasks
  2. Notes
  3. Decisions
  4. Risks
  5. Flash Reports

Directly from the main grids, via the “three dots” context menu in the Actions column (subject to permissions).

Main impacted screens:

  1. Project / Activity Reviews
  2. Project Workload Plan
  3. Capacity Planning
  4. Detailed Budget (Project & Finance)
  5. Supplier and Contract Lists

ℹ️ Note: Creation from the Gantt view is planned for a future release.


✅ Enrichment of Detailed Objects

(Projects, Activities, Suppliers, Contracts, Budget Years)

From the following screens:

  • Suppliers, Contracts, Budget Years:

    • Create and view tasks

  • Projects and Activities:

    • Create and view tasks, risks, and flash reports

Notes
All actions comply with existing permission rules.


✅ Decision KPIs Added to Tables

Three new columns are now available:

  1. Decisions in preparation
  2. Decisions to be arbitrated
  3. Approved decisions

Available in:

  1. Project / Activity Reviews
  2. Detailed Budget
  3. Supplier / Contract Lists

Idea
These KPIs are clickable (except in Detailed Budget) and redirect to the Decision tracking view.


✅ Enhanced Excel Exports

Exports now include:

  1. Decision KPIs
  2. A dedicated “Decisions” sheet

Applies to exports for:

  1. Projects / Activities
  2. Suppliers
  3. Budgets

Alert
Notes are not exported.


✅ Integration into Dataset APIs

New routes available:

  1. /v1/datasets/decisions/dimensions
  2. /v1/datasets/projects/decisions
  3. /v1/datasets/budgets/{budgetId}/decisions
  4. /v1/datasets/suppliers/decisions

✅ Comments on Decisions

  1. Addition of a Comments tab in the Decision panel
  2. Ability to add up to 6 files per comment
  3. Available only after the decision has been created

✅ Search in Notes

  • Addition of a full-text search engine in the Notes panels


✅ Other Enhancements

  1. Clickable associations within decisions
  2. Visual indicator (padlock + tooltip) when drag & drop is not allowed in Kanban view
🛠️ 3. New Toolbar

🎯 Objective

Roll out the new toolbar across all platform modules.

🚀 Key Enhancements

The principles of the new toolbar—initially introduced in Project Reviews—are now extended to all modules, with targeted adjustments.


🔀 Cross-Module Changes

KPI Display

In the Portfolio and Finance modules, budget KPIs are grouped within a hover-accessible panel.

Bulk Actions

In the Finance and Teams modules, the bulk action button has been repositioned above the “Actions” column for improved consistency.


🧰 Portfolio – Project / Activity Specifics

Logged Time

In Workload Plan and Detailed Budget, access to logged time is now available via the context menu (three dots).


👥 Teams Module

  1. The Teams panel now supports multi-selection
  2. Ability to display multiple teams simultaneously
🌟 4. Other Enhancements

📖 API

Dataset Enhancements

  1. Addition of the summary field for projects/activities
  2. Addition of the actionPlan field for risks

Timesheet Analytical Axes

The route /v1/datasets/timesheets/{year} now exposes associated analytical axes.


👤 Users

  1. Generalization of the User ID across:
    1. Interfaces
    2. Exports
    3. APIs

📥 Imports

Invoices & Time

New fields added:

  1. Budget Line ID
  2. Sub-budget

Matching now prioritizes ID-based matching.

Bulk Invoice Import

  • Ability to copy allocations and budget lines via drag & drop


👁️‍🗨️ Views

  1. It is no longer possible for a single user to create two views with the same name
  2. No impact on existing views
